ARRIVE AND DRIVESome karting
centers call this type of driving "practice
sessions" or "free practice" but we call it arrive
and drive. It means you can turn up and, subject to
there being time available on the track, go out for
a driving session - We suggest though that you
telephone us and book your track time well in
advance to avoid disappointment. We offer drivers 3
session lengths of 10, 20 and 30 minutes and you can
have multiples of these session lengths, currently
up to 4.
30 minutes on our track will get you sweating so it
will be only the fittest of drivers that can survive
4 x 30 minutes sessions in a single visit - There's
a challenge !
The break time in-between each session can vary
depending on what other groups are in the venue but
it gives you time to cool down and grab a drink -
Often when drivers get tired they make mistakes so
we advise you to get plenty of fluids in you during
the breaks and get your breath back.
All driver timings printed at the end of each
session are for you to keep and also show where you
rank amongst other drivers who visit A12Karters. Not
only that but you can see where you rank against
other SuperSport timing venues. It is hoped in the
future that we could have live video links to other
sites for endurance races so we can prove just how
good Essex drivers are.
In due course, once our kitchens are finished we
will be offering hot meal deals to compliment your
race night but for the moment we have engaged the
services of a local catering company for those that
want to race and eat. Please ring to discuss your
future visit.
